Meet our Communications assistant
Anjalee Sekhon
Communications assistant
Hi everyone, I’m Anjalee!
I’ve always been fascinated by how communication and rehabilitation connect, which naturally led me to a passion for breaking down barriers in mental health and healthcare. I truly believe that creating inclusive spaces where people can show up exactly as they are is where real healing begins. I’m thrilled to bring my favourite things - strong organizational skills, a dash of creativity, and a ton of warm energy - to the team to support our community. Outside of work, my ideal days involve exploring the great outdoors, experimenting with new baking recipes for loved ones, and traveling to new places!
I speak English, Punjabi, and beginner-level Hindi!
Why is working in a mental health space meaningful to you?
It is the type of work that is meaningful. Ensuring that individuals feel genuinely seen, safe, and supported before they even connect with a practitioner is a powerful way to reflect how much we truly care.
My friends would describe me as outgoing and always up for an adventure.
I love romanticizing my early mornings and making the most of a busy day.
I'm definitely a night owl - it feels like my time to unwind.
An iced shaken espresso is almost always my go-to coffee order.
Gossip Girl will forever be one of my comfort shows.
You'll usually find me listening to upbeat music that keeps my energy up.
