Hi, I’m Sumbul! Reaching out for support isn’t always easy, especially if you’ve spent much of your life feeling misunderstood or like you’ve had to carry everything on your own. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe enough to show up exactly as you are. A place where you can share the thoughts, feelings, and experiences you’ve never quite felt able to say out loud, knowing you’ll be met with curiosity, compassion, and without judgment.

Together, we’ll explore the patterns that have shaped your life and discover ways to work with your personality and the way your brain works, rather than feeling like you’re constantly fighting against yourself. I have a special passion for working with South Asian women, neurodivergent individuals, and young adults. As someone with lived experience navigating ADHD and mental health challenges, I understand how powerful it can be to feel genuinely seen and understood, and I strive to offer that same experience to every client I meet.

Outside of therapy, you’ll usually find me immersed in fictional worlds through books, TV, or video games, where I’m reminded that every story can be understood from a different perspective, including our own.

I have always been interested in human behaviour and neurology and was always the go-to person for my friends and family to come talk to about their problems.

However, I truly found myself interested in psychotherapy once I pursued individual therapy for myself! Seeing thespace that the therapist creates for the client and envisioning myself as being someone who can do the same for others felt like a dream, and it was.

my why

A Peek into Your Session

My goal is to help clients feel safe, understood, seen, and heard. I want our session space to be somewhere they can share anything they want to, things that they feel could help others understand then better but haven’t felt like they can share with anyone else. We can take all the information, patterns, and thoughts, and learn to work with the client’s personality and brain, instead of against them.

More about Sumbul

  • My friends would describe me as friendly and easy to talk to.

  • I’m definitely a night owl.

  • One of my favourite simple pleasures is getting under a warm blanket in a cold room.

  • My ideal Sunday is staying in, resetting, and preparing for the week ahead.

  • Working in mental health is meaningful to me because I love being a resource for others as they heal, grow, and work toward their goals.

  • I’ll choose upbeat bangers over a cozy playlist any day.

  • Coffee, good food, and meaningful conversations are some of my favourite things!

  • I have a soft spot for animals and will probably notice a pet in the room before anything else.

  • I'm a list maker and genuinely enjoy organizing things (even when the list gets longer than the actual task).
